Matthew Matt James, born December 5, 1991 on the 5th of December, 1991 in North Carolina. Parents are Manny James, and Patty James. The father of Manny James is Nigerian as is his mother is a caucasian American. His father is Nigerian, and his mother is caucasian american. He graduated from Sanderson High School in 2010, then went on to Wake Forest University, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics in 2015. James was first known for his part as The Bachelorette's reality TV star. In 2020 he got selected to be the next bachelor on The Bachelor's season 25, becoming The first African American male lead which later premiered in 2021. James seemed to be the perfect match for the part because he has an attractive, well-rounded and an impressive height. The series ended when he chose Rachael Krkconnell as his choice to begin an intimate relationship with her. The following year, in 2021, he was paired with the famous dancer Arnold for season 30 Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold finished 12th.
