Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September of 1983 in Worthington, Ohio, is an American actor. She is famous for playing Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills and Kim Mills on ABC's Lost television series. Originating from Worthington Ohio, she left high school in order to relocate in Los Angeles with her mother after her parents divorce. Her first role came to her as Rachel's Room's main character in 2001 despite struggling in the financial department. In 2002 she was nominated for an Young Artist Award with her part as the 15-year-old murdered Martha Moxley. Grace appeared as Shannon Rutherford on the Lost TV show in 2004. She played the lead protagonist for two seasons and also won an award for her performance, a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace was keen to pursue film after starring opposite Tom Welling's character on The Fog, in 2005. She starred as Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken the year 2008) in Suburban Girl and the Jane Austen Book Club. In 2008, she played the same role as Kim Mills in Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both in 2012). Grace reprised her role as Shannon in Lost, including the finale. Grace was a part of the show's sixth season that aired from 2013 to 2014. The character she plays is Faith who's both the star-gazer and a groupie. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. A member of the Gyllenhaal clan, she is the daughter of filmmakers Stephen Gyllenhaal and Naomi Achs as well as the elder sister of actor Jake Gyllenhaal. When she was in her teens she appeared in small roles in the films of her father and was co-starring with her sister in Donnie Darko which is a famous cult film. Then she appeared as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal received praise from critics for her leading roles in Secretary (2002 an erotic romantic drama) and Sherrybaby (606) Both of which garnered her Golden Globe Award nods. The actress gained more attention after playing Rachel Dawes, a superhero in The Dark Knight (2008), thanks to several successful commercial films that she was a part of in the year 2006. The film was nominated to win an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Rachel Dawes in Crazy Heart, (2009). In the following years, she appeared in comedies and dramas: Nanny McPhee as well as the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and Won't Back Down (2012). She also was an Secret Service Agent in White House Down, an action thriller from 2013, a musician on the set of Frank (2014), and The lead on The Kindergarten Teacher, a drama that was released in the year of 2018. In 2021, Gyllenhaal was able to make her writing and directing debut with the psychological drama The Lost Daughter for which she was awarded The Lost Daughter the Venice International Film Festival's Best Screenplay Award and was nominated to win the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
