Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a musical family. She spent most of her childhood listening to classical music Boleros from the past, traditional ranchero or romantic songs, as well classic classical music. Ana loves the opera and tango genres as well as any form of dramatic performance. She began singing and learning songs with her mother she began her more intensive vocal training when she was 16 working with the famous Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. Her early professional career included performances with a variety of orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs and chamber groups in Guadalajara. When she moved from Mexico to the United States around 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. Her passion for the performing arts, music, and the arts keeps her involved in local activities for both an artist as well as a teacher. Ana was also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as well as the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
