Amy Poehler (American actress, voice artist and comedian), has a net value of $22.5 million. Her most well-known part is in Parks and Recreation, an NBC comedy. She also has appeared in various films. She became famous through "Saturday Night Live." Amy Meredith Poehler was born in Newton, Massachusetts, September 16, 1971. Her parents Eileen and William Poehler were both school teachers. She has one younger brother, Greg, who is a producer and actor. Amy grew up in Burlington Massachusetts which is a Boston suburb. Amy discovered her love for acting at the age of 10, when she portrayed Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz" at middle school. She was active in the drama department at high school as well as a participant in the Student Council, and an player on the soccer and softball teams. In 1989 she graduated from high school and enrolled in the nearby Boston College. Amy was a part of an improv comedy troupe during college. In 1993, she received her degree from Boston College.
